I’m Andrew Doiron, an Footwear professional based in Montreal. I specialize in conceptualizing and creating footwear. My enthusiasm for footwear has led me to a range of experiences within the industry, from the humble art of shoemaking to the more technical aspects of computer design for larger-scale factory production. My expertise span a wide range of footwear types.

Doiron Kicks is a my personal venture, offering my expertise in footwear design and development and making. Services offered include pattern engineering, custom shoemaking, consulting, designing, development, project management and teaching. I draw from my extensive knowledge of footwear design principles, foot and lower limb mechanics, materials, construction processes and equipment and a drive to research to come up with innovative and sustainable means to help me attain my goals. The process of designing within the parameters of comfort, performance, aesthetics and sustainability is a challenge that continues to captivate me.
